How were you introduced to the game Netstorm? Well, there was once a player on NS called Haschel, basically he went out with my sister and yeh eventually it led up to him bringing the game over and installing it on my computer
Which guild have you been a member of? Damn this is a hard one, ummm... definetly JEDI is the one I've been in the longest but on the way i've also been in Leaf, WoC and... e* i think it was called.
Which guild are you currently a member of? The one and only JEDI of course!! JEDI FTW ; )
What's the best thing about Netstorm? The best thing about Netstorm would have to be the fact you can come on after so many years and still find it enjoyable. Also the fact that it is just an interesting strategy game with great people on it. Another great thing is that you get to wear sexy tags, like the one I use now =)
What's the worst thing about Netstorm? The worst thing on netstorm would be....not being able to find a game after 2 hours of sitting in the zones. Oh how good life was when I had that much spare time ;P
Who is your favourite player? I can't say I have a favourite player but yeh if I did have a favourite player they'd most probably be from JEDI. Not to be biased at all but honestly, the people in JEDI are the nicest people you will meet on Netstorm ; )No matter how nerdy you might think we might be, you know it's true!
Which unit do you like the most? Well, I don't really have a favourite unit but i have a few favourite combinations. Ice cannons and sun bars/stones are definetly my favourite combo, it is the tech which i use quite often as a side and it manages to work quite well... most of the time : P And of course bow spam FTW for mid and 1's =)
Which unit do you hate the most? The unit which I hate the most would have to be the arcs, I hate using them and I hate them being used against me : P. The fact that they are annoying to kill and that they wipe out almost anything is annoying : p
North or South? South for sure
Why? the advantages are quite great compared to north and generally it's just easier to bridge from south, just as it is to place units etc When I play verse good players the person who is south usually ends up being the winner : P
Side or mid? Definately side!
Why? This is the time when I get the chance to whip out ice cannons and sun all in one go. It's a lethal combination and is very fun to use ; ) Especially when you get the flank! Although if I'm versing someone like Ingwe this usually ends up going downhill =
What are you best at when it comes to playing Netstorm? I'm best at ... rushing when i'm on my good days =) Ohh i love the feeling of getting down to someone isle before they get the chance to post when i'm mid ; )
And what's your biggest flaw? My biggest flaw...hmm...hard to say because it varies on different days but yeh being lazy and letting myself get flanked or just thinking someone is too easy and end up letting my guard down ; p

What's the best thing about Netstorm? The best thing that probably kept me coming back to netstorm, gameplay aside, was the small community and togetherness we all had, even if we were all in different guilds. The more you played, the more cool people you met, and the more the nimbus skies felt like a second home. As far as the game itself, well, alot of things make it good - what other game do you have to bridge alot in?
What's the worst thing about Netstorm? The worst thing about netstorm, I suppose would be the fact that it was abandoned software that never got a real chance to blossom, as well as the fact that it came out with alot of other big game titles and got swept under the rug. I've always felt bad about the third party projects that tried to extend netstorm, but didn't quite make it, and the fact that the current beta is also basically abandoned. However, there still has been some major improvements to the game so it's not like nothing was done at all. The second thing, which is a usual cliche to say at this point, but the steep learning curve that surely twarted many would-be players.
Who is your favourite player? it's hard to pick out a 'single' favorite player of mine, so I might as well not do that. I've met a great number of people who have affected my life and I surely have affected theirs, for the positive, whether it be about real life things or training in netstorm. They all know who they are, so thanks !
Which unit do you like the most? My favorite unit is a toss up between ice cannons and crossbows, but I use crossbows more so I guess i'll have to go with that. They allow me to get a good rush, and hopefully crush someone within the first few minutes. (which works sometimes, not all the time!)
Which unit do you hate the most? Least favorite unit is probably balloons, even though they are cheap - they are equally weak. For a serious game, and if i'm gonna pick a flyer, it surely would not be balloons! Not to mention, if I do have the time during a rush to build a sunshop, I'm gonna pick something of more worth like an extra generator for teching up, or bars/stone towers..not balloons!
North or South? It doesnt much matter to me.. each side has its benefits and drawbacks
Why? cause I like bridgin down more than up =P
Side or mid? Side or mid depends on what tech I feel like using. If i want to practice my rush, mid for sure, but if I want to get a 2-3 workshop start, and practice using those combinations of units, then side is obviously where to go.
Why? Side is fun sometimes, because in 1's, I rush more then I don't, so I rarely get those 2-3 workshop starts. However, I love to rush more than I don't, so thats why I like mid.. Maybe its cheating to take both answers, but ... I like both!

I think my rush is pretty good when I get a chance and the time to fine tune it, and I think I do a decent job of using each unit to its maximum potential/purpose. How were you introduced to the game Netstorm? I played the demo in the late 97 and I immediately fell in love with it, tho I didn't have the full version, nor internet back then. I reached the full version like 4 years later and internet in late 05 and that's when I started playing online.
Which guild have you been a member of?: 0=]SWORD>, -=POD=- currently
Which guild are you currently a member of?: -=POD=-
What's the best thing about Netstorm?: I don't know, the fact people still play it after all those years says for it. For me it's prolly the most awesome and original strategy game ever which you can never stop playing. Cool small community too.

Personally I like the game what it is like now, I wouldn't change anything, Tho there's been alot of patches released to help attract new players as ns is said not to be newbie friendly, I don't think that's the problem tho.

Whats the best thing about Netstorm?: Good question, at some point NS was too important for me. It made me score bad grades on high school back in the day... If you really love NS you can be obsessed with it. Some People are too active, It's like they're always in the skies. I know they spend all their free time to Netstorm, I'm not calling any names like Ingwe...What's good about NS:
It's actually the best game ever. A strategy game in 2d which never bores, including a loyal community

Whats the best thing about Netstorm?: Good question, at some point NS was too important for me. It made me score bad grades on high school back in the day... If you really love NS you can be obsessed with it. Some People are too active, It's like they're always in the skies. It's actually the best game ever. A strategy game in 2d which never bores, including a loyal community

Today I was out on a stroll, minding my own business. And here comes the bird! Yes, thee bird. He had caught the catch of the year! A huge worm, slimy, fat, shiny, long.

What's the best thing about Netstorm? The diverse tactics available. That despite having played lots there are new things to learn, things I can try and improve by doing, and that I can try help my guild to be stronger by promoting activity, training and recruiting.
What's the worst thing about Netstorm?: The lack of players, that I can't go on whenever and just get a game. And that every PD I get has bad time zones for me and I can't see them and train them!
Who is your favourite player?: Slayer. He's a very modest, quiet player, who is very interesting outside of the game.
Which unit do you like the most?: Crossbows.
Which unit do you hate the most?: Acid Barricades. They never connect!
North or South?: Depends who I play and how I feel at the time.
Why?: South I feel faster on, and towers are more effective, but I often feel happier at north, mostly due to geysers.

Why?: I feel more confident from mid, I screw up less often when I am middle. On a bad map you feel so helpless when side, a fast player kills you before you get a chance to start.

What's the best thing about Netstorm? Netstorm is fun because there's a lot of action. Bridging is really fun, and mentally stimulating. Also there's the strategic element as well.

Who is your favourite player?: My favourite player to watch is stormy when he doesn't mess around and make the game last an hour. Favourite over all I can't say, most of the people are great.

How were you introduced to the game Netstorm?: I have installed a demo which i found on a CD of a computer magazine. I tried playing online and I fell in love with it =p
Which guilds have you been a member of?: Talon for a short time that was the only real guild I've been in on 10.37. Other guilds were uc guilds like United Newbies... and others I can't remember now.
When I got back I joined DCWIW
Which guild are you currently a member of?: Now I am a memeber of a non guild MoO.
What's the best thing about Netstorm?: Game of ns is usually short about 10-15 minutes,
depends on map and a lot about skill which I like.

Which unit do you like the most?: Hm, I think that every single unit is great and I use all the units depending on a situation. If I had to choose I would choose bow of course =p.

What's your best Netstorm memory?: there are a lot of good things that have happened. i guess it's the time i spent playing with my friend Kold back in the old day when a lot of good peeps were active. we had sooo much fun going uc and starting all kind of shit, challenging good players and mostly winning.
What we think about (Daedalus): Ever since Daedalus started training me I've learned alot about how he is as a player, and a little of how he is as a person. And both are very positive! Daedalus has this calm and plays thought through. He thinks of every little detail and is very pedagogical.

How were you introduced to the game Netstorm?: I have installed a demo which i found on a CD of a computer magazine. I tried playing online and I fell in love with it =p
Which guilds have you been a member of?: Talon for a short time that was the only real guild I've been in on 10.37. Other guilds were uc guilds like United Newbies... and others I can't remember now.
When I got back I joined DCWIW
Which guild are you currently a member of?: Now I am a memeber of a non guild MoO.
What's the best thing about Netstorm?: Game of ns is usually short about 10-15 minutes,
depends on map and a lot about skill which I like.
And a small community with a lot of really great people.
What's the worst thing about Netstorm?: Nowdays it is inactivity
Who is your favourite player?: Arris is my number 1.
Which unit do you like the most?: Hm, I think that every single unit is great and I use all the units depending on a situation. If I had to choose I would choose bow of course =p.
Which unit do you hate the most?: None
North or South?: I prefer south
Why?: I find it easier bridging up than down =p
Side or mid?: Doesnt matter to me
Why?: I think I do well on both positions because I have played a lot of games against good people
on both positions and I know how to handle both
What are you best at when it comes to playing Netstorm?: I read the map well, I counter enemy attacks well and I attack them where it hurts =p
And what's your biggest flaw?: I expect bessy (Besorah a.k.a Nutrivend) to do all the work when we play 2s, it never ends well for both of us :D
What's your best Netstorm memory?: there are a lot of good things that have happened. i guess it's the time i spent playing with my friend Kold back in the old day when a lot of good peeps were active. we had sooo much fun going uc and starting all kind of shit, challenging good players and mostly winning.
What we think about (Daedalus): Ever since Daedalus started training me I've learned alot about how he is as a player, and a little of how he is as a person. And both are very positive! Daedalus has this calm and plays thought through. He thinks of every little detail and is very pedagogical.

How long have you been playing Netstorm?: I have played since -98 or something, then I've had multiple breaks and came back March -08 to form the Nimbian Riot
How were you introduced to the game Netstorm?: I started to play because my real life best friend showed it to me (played as Fuzzy). So we played an entire summer all day long and it was great fun. We even had a guild back then called DRAF, Defenders of Right and Friendship (lame name ;p)
Which guild have you been a member of?: Hm... can't remember all. GOF, Guardians of Fellowship, Fury, DRAF... some people say I was in FORT but I can't honestly remember if I was or not.
Which guild are you currently a member of?: =Nimbian Riot=
Whats the best thing about Netstorm?: Connecting bridges has a therapeutic calm to it.
Whats the worst thing about Netstorm?: Too few players.
Who is your favourite player?: Dont know =P
Which unit do you like the most?: Stone Tower but I use it too little.
Which unit do you hate the most?: Balloons.
North or South?: South
Why?: I often play north because I serve but the logical choice is south since it has range advantage. I LIKE North better though!

Whats your best Netstorm memory?: My best memory is probably last year playing for several days in a row, drinking coffee all night, but it paid off and I got a lot better in just a few days! That was great. NetStorm is the best thing you can do on a night, even beats sleeping =)
What we think about (MGren):
I think he is a really good player who gives alot of thought to the game. I respect his dedication to the =Nimbian Riot= guild and that's one of the things that makes me feel really proud about being a member of the guild. So just to mention (if there's anyone who doesn't know) MGren is the leader of the guild =Nimbian Riot=.
At many times I can be stunned of how quick he is when he's playing.
Not only when it comes to bridging and rushing, he is also very fast on reacting to what his opponent is doing / Lith
I think MGren is one of the better players on Netstorm. He is very fast and makes the right decisions. He is also very polite and treats people well / Mirax
